Platelayers Cottages are situated in a secluded valley in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.

From Pickering, take the A169 north towards Whitby. Travel approximately 5 miles, passing The Fox & Rabbit Inn on the right. Take the second left turn past the Fox and Rabbit Inn signposted Lockton & Levisham.

Follow the road through to Levisham. Drive up through the village. Then keep to the left, travelling past the The Horseshoe Inn on your right.

Head down the bank (signposted Levisham Station), and go over the Levisham Station crossing.

Follow the forest road which swings round to the right with the railway line running parallel.

After a mile or so, you will see Playtelayers cottage on your left. You have arrived!
